Life on 35 (a nod to 35mm film) explores the visual and emotional language of film photography through minimalist editorial design and abstract cover art. The cover was designed to reflect the soft unpredictability of film, using layered shapes and muted gradients to echo the fading clarity of memory. Editorial spreads use minimal layout and quiet typography to mimic the pacing of film: moments of stillness, contrast, and fade.
This visual system captures the nostalgic yet contemporary spirit of analog photography. The design speaks to fleeting moments, blurred memories, and the emotional imperfections that only film can preserve.
